Pricing & Operations Associate
Top Hedge Fund Asset Manager
Our client, a top Hedge Fund with $40 Billion AUM specializing in long-short equity, is expanding its operations team and looking for an experienced Pricing & Data Associate.
The ideal candidate will have #+ years of solid pricing, valuations and data operations experience with a asset manager, fund or fund adminstrator.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily pricing responsibilities and resolve any discrepancies with fund administrators, agencies, trustees, and brokers across all securities of the firm, including loans, bonds, equities, derivatives, and private securities
- Work with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, IDC, Markit
- Deliver timely and accurate investment information across departments, including portfolio management, fund accounting, compliance, investment operations, etc.
- Interfacing with New Accounts Group, Fund Accounting, Performance and Compliance
- Monitor security price uploads from vendors to ensure accuracy
- Review daily pricing for variances and stale pricing
- Verify pricing history and current valuations on restructured assets and new securities
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with market data and pricing operations with a fund or fund administrator
- Knowledgeable of trade lifecycles
- Experience working with private credit, bank loans, and CLOs is a strong plus
- Demonstrated high proficiency in Excel skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to take on multiple tasks and under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships
Excellent Compensation Package
- Annual salary of $95- $115K depending on experience.
