Job descriptionRegistered Nurse - CVOR Winston-Salem, NC Full-time, Day shift Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting. Assist with surgeries including complex procedures such as valve repairs / replacements, CABG, TAVR, thoracic surgeries, and others. Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process. Document patient care and communicate effectively with surgical team members using SBAR and electronic systems like EPIC. Adhere to strict policies regarding RTO and scheduling, including no work-out options post-booking. Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient management and assist with emergent procedures as needed. Active nursing license with at least 2 years of CVOR experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Circulating and scrub experience in the CVOR. Willingness to work 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM. Ability to work 10 call days per month, including one weekend. Must provide availability for interviews within the next 72 hours. Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR). Scrub experience in advanced cardiovascular procedures. Familiarity with robotic thoracic surgery, TAVR, and complex cardiac surgeries.
