Position Summary:

A well-established, mid-sized law firm with offices in New Jersey and New York is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3 to 7+ years of experience to join its active Litigation and White-Collar Criminal Practice Group in its Hackensack, NJ office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex matters while taking meaningful responsibility for case management and client interaction.

Candidates must be admitted in both New Jersey and New York, or able to waive in promptly, and should be comfortable overseeing day-to-day litigation in state and federal courts across both jurisdictions. Experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

• Commercial litigation
• Estate litigation
• Employment litigation
• Federal criminal defense

Familiarity with New Jersey Court Rules, New York CPLR, SCPA, and Commercial Division rules is preferred.

Ideal candidates will bring the following:

• Prior state or federal judicial clerkship
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience managing litigation matters independently
• Experience appearing in court, taking depositions, and communicating directly with clients
• Trial experience is a plus
