Job Summary

Job Description

• DUTIES : Design and develop new software and web applications using Python and Golang; work with Cassandra, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL databases, and cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure;
• design and develop RESTful APIs; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases;
• analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports;
• monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects;
• collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs;
• display in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty;
• display in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design, and redesign skills; present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences;

and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

• REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience designing and developing software applications using Python;
• working with Cassandra, MongoDB, or any other NoSQL database; of which one (1) year of experience includes working with cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure;

developing RESTful APIs; and developing software using Golang.

SALARY : $135,283.00 to $155,000.00 per year

Salary :

Base Pay : $135,283.00
