Public Entity & Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive/Vice President
We are looking for a Public Entity & Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive / Vice President
As the Senior Account Executive / Vice President, you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional client services through proactive risk management and innovative insurance solutions.
This position plays a vital role in cultivating and maintaining key client relationships overseeing renewals, servicing new business, and partnering with producers to grow their Book of Business.
What You’ll Do :
- Consult with clients to understand their unique risks and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Negotiate policy verbiage and manage Memorandum of Coverages.
- Ensure exceptional client service through coordination with carriers and internal resources.
- Review legal contracts and insurance policies for risk transfer provisions and coverage language.
- Resolve complex coverage issues and answer client questions.
- Lead marketing strategy for accounts to meet client requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting collaboration and collective success.
What You’ll Need to Succeed :
- College degree required; Juris Doctorate is a plus.
- Fifteen (15) or more years of technical insurance and client experience, including significant face-to-face contact with risk management accounts with sophisticated insurance needs.
- Five (5) or more years as an Account Executive or Vice President.
- Experience managing and servicing books of business of $2 million or more in annual revenue.
- Extensive experience in servicing public entities and large middle market accounts, including excess liability, excess property, self-administered, and quota share programs.
- Knowledge of risk financing alternative plans (e.g. captives, loss sensitive, large deductible) and reinsurance.
- Strong working knowledge of reviewing standardized commercial and manuscript policy forms for language consistency and coverage adequacy.
- Experiences with frequent client-facing interactions with upper management, governing boards, or other high-level stakeholder audiences.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage sales / service teams.
- Experience writing, editing, and understanding Memorandum of Coverage, Memorandum of Understanding, and Memorandum of Agreement.
- AMS360 experience is preferred.

Compensation :
Salary range between : $125,000-$140,000 may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the firm’s performance.
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
