Our client, a prominent multi-product manufacturing leader headquartered in the Midwest and boasting a national footprint, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team.

With a robust $1 billion revenue and a workforce of 2,000 employees, they have recently relocated their headquarters to Green Bay, WI.

Operating across 10 manufacturing and distribution sites nationwide.

The Opportunity :

We are actively seeking a CFO who will serve as a pivotal partner in shaping, monitoring, and evaluating our client’s organizational strategy, with a keen focus on enhancing financial performance and overall value.

Leading a team of 10, the selected candidate will play a critical role in crafting and implementing a strategic finance plan to drive the organization's growth objectives.

Central to this role is spearheading strategic operational initiatives, including analytics, predictive modeling, and operational cost efficiency planning, especially during periods of rapid expansion.

The ideal candidate will be ready and able to transform the finance function into a strategic business enabler.

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a vital member of the executive team, the CFO will have oversight of all financial aspects of the organization.

The ideal candidate must excel in building relationships across diverse functional roles and possess a swift grasp of the company's various value propositions and customer profiles to thrive in this role.

What you will need to be successful :

  • Proven experience as a strategic advocate and trusted advisor to the executive leadership team
  • Demonstrated success facilitating growth objectives including due diligence, assessments, and negotiations
  • Strong collaborative skills to continuously evaluate financial performance and drive data-driven business decisions
  • Expertise in overseeing all fiscal activities for the business, including budgeting, financial controls, reporting, and audits
  • Capability to identify, monitor, and communicate key financial metrics, ensuring robust controls for performance tracking and informed decision-making
  • Proficiency in monitoring internal controls and initiating corrective actions as needed, with a focus on leading cost analysis and reduction efforts
  • Skill in developing and maintaining financial planning scenarios and cash flow projections to facilitate informed and sound business decisions

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred, with consideration given to backgrounds in distribution or logistics
  • Ideal candidate will have hands-on data analysis experience and the ability to build complex financial models
  • Comprehensive exposure to diverse finance and accounting functions, including general accounting, audit, reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting, internal controls, information systems, treasury, and taxation, is highly valued
  • Proven capability to navigate strategic and tactical hurdles with agility and effectiveness, prioritizing a robust execution mindset
