As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing HFS Spend within the respective Category. Your role will include price negotiations, terms and conditions discussions, managing lead times, and assisting Locations in obtaining purchase order acknowledgements. You will develop a strong understanding of supplier manufacturing capabilities, volume capacity, and technical skills.

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate communication between suppliers and Location planners and buyers (RM, Components, OSP).
• Develop a robust structured supplier onsite contact plan to ensure HFS priority and assess performance in terms of production, delivery, and quality.
• Create standardized KPI performance reports (OTD, Lead Times, Capacity) and organize routine feedback sessions for suppliers regarding their performance status.
• Negotiate and monitor recovery plans when necessary.
• Collaborate with Locations to implement second sourcing for critical products, focusing primarily on Raw Materials.
• Lead, co-lead, or support initiatives to meet objectives, such as Kaizen workshops, Consignment Programs, and Stocking Programs.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $42.00 / hr.
