The ideal candidate for the Category Manager possesses the initiative and creative thought processes to identify opportunities that maximize the category sales. They will be committed to being an energetic and positive contributor to the company’s vision and goals, driven, an initiator, and has an influential voice when sharing ideas. Always keeping customer service skills in mind as we are partners with Target and the manufacturer.

Responsibilities :

• Provide representation and communication of category performance by gathering and analyzing data regarding merchandising strategy, product performance, brand contribution, consumer insights and market trends.
• Develop business and assortment plans.
• Lead planogram strategies, trend analysis, and market opportunities.
• Use technology and market based tools to recommend strategic winning assortments, aesthetics, and shelf space optimization.
