Manager – Financials Systems Support (Hybrid)

For our client, we are seeking an experienced Manager – Financial Systems Support to lead a team of financial systems super-users. This position is responsible for managing accounting and financial information system policies, procedures, and project management related to new or revised financial systems. The manager will oversee key systems such as SAP (ECC 6.0), Power Plant, Hyperion, GRC-RAR, Blackline, and SAP FERC module to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations. Oversee SAP (ECC 6.0), Power Plant, Hyperion, and Blackline monthly close processes, ensuring timely completion and strong internal controls Support the planning and budgeting process Maintain and apply internal control standards related to Sarbanes-Oxley for master data, entitlement, and financial system controls Collaborate with IT on functional upgrades, testing, and implementation of new financial system enhancements Coordinate major financial system upgrades and integrations, including SAP / GRC-RAR / Hyperion / Power Plant / Blackline Develop and guide a team of SAP and financial system experts to deliver process improvements and user support Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity while managing troubleshooting and enhancement requests Provide leadership, technical expertise, and process improvement initiatives to align financial systems with business goals Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Systems, or related field Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience Functional knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 Financial and Controlling modules and Hyperion Familiarity with Power Plant, Blackline, and GRC-RAR preferred Required Competencies : Proven experience in accounting process system design Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Solid understanding of business unit processes and interdependencies Strong financial and internal control acumen Desired Qualifications : Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with GLSU, Microsoft Excel, and Robotic Process Automation tools Benefits : Health Insurance Sick time 401k Pay Range : $60.00 - $71.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
