Data Science Associate Director (BioPharm Communications LLC, New Hope, PA)

Conduct research, build prototypes and drive production of new analytical product offerings. Execute ad-hoc analysis in a fast-paced business environment. Provide subject matter expertise on mathematical and statistical methodologies. Analyze healthcare claims data, Rx data, and promotional activity data (personal detailing, multichannel marketing, media) using state-of-the-art methods to estimate returns on investment for multichannel promotional campaigns. Use analytic tools, such as Python and SQL, Tableau to analyze large data sets and summarize key findings to illustrate important patterns of health, cost and utilization and their trends over time. Collaborate with data engineering to identify and incorporate third-party data sources into analytical workflows and platforms. Develop concise, complete, and accurate written information to create analytics plans which define the background, objectives, and methods for upcoming analytic projects. Identify actionable business insights and summarize key implications to business strategy. Organize and coordinate work to manage multiple mid-size projects to meet interim and final deadlines. Provide clear and timely updates to management to communicate progress and status. Contribute to documentation of analytical programming workflows, including methodology, validation, and outputs for analysis datasets and reports. Work closely with Client Solutions, Strategy, Data Engineering and Executive Leadership team to plan, execute and evaluate a broad range of strategic marketing initiatives and analytical offerings. Mentor junior analysts on statistical methods and project execution. Support team development by sharing best practices and providing informal performance feedback in collaboration with direct supervisors. 100% remote; must reside in U.S.; reports to HQ in New Hope, PA. Salary : $140,500-$148,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or any occupation / position / job title involving managing data analytics projects.

Must also have experience in the following : 3 years of professional experience utilizing Programming Languages including SQL, R, Python, Scala, and Spark; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Web Technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, or Bootstrap; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Python Packages including Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn and R machine learning packages; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Databases including Snowflake, MySQL, Oracle12c, and MS-Access; 3 years of professional experience implementing ML models in production with platforms including DataBricks; 3 years of professional experience writing and implementing algorithms for proprietary products; 3 years of professional experience developing data reports and models using SQL, R, Python, Excel, and Tableau; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Version Control GitHub.
