JOB TITLE ( # 1627 ) : Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care - Bronx, NY

Minimum of 6 months experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with an Urgent Care facility located in Bronx, New York.

Requirements o f Nurse Practitioner :

Must have an active NY State License
Must be Board Certified
Must have at least 6 months of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 / yr

This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position (minimum of 2 days a week)

Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner :

Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient's condition or illness

Conduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions, infections, disease processes, etc.

Provide advice to patients about health maintenance, hygiene practices, diet modification, medication use, etc.

Perform diagnostic tests, such as wound culture, urinalysis, and blood tests

Treat minor wounds, cuts, and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infection

Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury

Order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illness

Communicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans

Provide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems
