A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure effective risk selection of reviewed cases

Demonstrate leadership and mentor subordinates within the underwriting team

Continuously seek process improvements and support decision-making on complex cases

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education / experience

Minimum of 6 years of life or health underwriting experience

Proficiency in AWD or similar systems, MS Office, and risk assessment

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively

Continuous learning within the underwriting profession
