Pay Range $40-$45 plus 12% shift differential

What You'll Do
- Act as the Lathe Subject Matter Expert (SME) across our CNC operations.
- Be a strong physical presence on the shop floor to support complex setups, troubleshoot issues in real time, and lead by example.
- Actively perform hands-on CNC lathe setup and machining, including tool setup, offsetting, program adjustments, and first article inspections.
- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of CNC machinists while working side-by-side with the team on the shop floor.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues directly, minimizing downtime and scrap.
- Develop and optimize CNC lathe programs using MasterCAM or other software, including macro programming where applicable.
- Operate and demonstrate proper use of indexable tooling, offline presetters, and setup techniques for complex lathe platforms.
- Interpret and apply GD&T requirements from aerospace drawings; verify conformance using appropriate measuring tools.
- Support the production schedule by ensuring timely setups, quality outputs, and efficient throughput.
- Mentor and train operators in setup procedures, quality checks, and safety protocols.
Who You Are / Qualifications
Master of CNC lathe equipment including Okuma, Doosan, Takisawa, Citizen, Swiss, and New Britain machines, with a passion for machining and mentoring others.Minimum 10 years of hands-on CNC lathe setup and machining experience in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.Proficient in MasterCAM and FANUC controls; strong CNC programming and troubleshooting skills.In-depth experience with machining stainless steel, Inconel, Titanium, and aluminum materials.Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and quality inspection tools.Leadership experience with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate operators.Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.What You'll Receive
