Software Factory Technician

DMI, LLC is seeking a Software Factory Technician to add to our Enterprise Analytics and Systems Support Services (EASSS) team in support of Human Resources Command (HRC) Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD). Duties and Responsibilities include :

• GITLAB EXPERIENCE
• Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements
• Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains operating system and related software
• Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters
• Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems
• Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries
• Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
• Be able to resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion and prioritize multiple tasks
• Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT / STIG policies and procedures
• Perform optimization and performance testing, provide technical support for incident response and reporting
• Able to perform repetitious detail assignments and data processing
• Taking business requirements (features, change requests, etc.) as input
