Our Downtown Hospital seeks a locum breast surgeon for coverage from July to December 2024, with potential for extension. The position requires handling general surgical cases, specifically breast surgery, within an office-clinic and hospital setting. Candidates must have board certification in general surgery, BLS certification, and relevant licensure, with preferred fellowship training in breast surgery.

Our Downtown Hospital is looking for locum breast surgery coverage July 2024 through December 2024 with possible extension!

Number of Operating Rooms : 28 across to hospitals
Number of General Surgeons in Practice : 9

Procedures Required :

General Surgical Cases ADULT

Breast Surgery

Cholecystectomy

Hernioplasty

Travel Requirements :

Facility will reimburse flight, hotel, car rental, mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.

All other bookings must be standard / economy

Lodging must be $150 / night

Anything beyond these parameters must be approved

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 90 days for full privileges; 2 weeks for temporary privileges

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified General Surgery - REQUIRED

BLS Certified - REQUIRED

Active SC license & DEA - REQUIRED

Clean background (medical & criminal) - REQUIRED

Breast Surgery Fellowship - Highly Preferred; must at least have extensive training
