Title of Position : DUI Instructor
Position Type : Part-time, Non-Exempt
Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour
Location : Orlando, FL and Casselberry, FL
We are searching for an Instructor to teach DUI Level I in our Orlando and Casselberry offices with the possibility of teaching DUI Level II courses in the future. The basic requirements to teach Level I courses can be found in the Education and Experience section below. Please note the requirement to teach Level II courses. We are searching for someone who can preferably qualify to teach both Level I and Level II, however it is not required. The Level I course is a total of 12 hours, and the Level II course is a total of 21 hours. We are looking for someone who can teach at least two Level I classes per month.

We are the HSMV licensed DUI Program that serves Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties. Our mission is to reduce preventable injuries and save lives through highly effective safety and health training, professional testing and monitoring. Summary of essential job functions :
Check class roster at the beginning of each session and return the roster to the required location.
Begin each class on time and monitor class breaks to ensure students receive the required number of hours of instruction. Ensure classes are not released early.
Provide handouts and grade pre and post-tests as appropriate.
Ensure that the curriculum is taught in accordance with DHSMV Administrative Rules.
Ensure that all required teaching materials, including audio-visual material are used according to the curriculum and maintained. Ensure that unauthorized materials (including handouts) are not utilized.
Prepare and provide to the Program Director incident reports for all activities requiring such documentation.
Comply with all requirements as outlined in Instructor Handbook.
Attend DHSMV approved and required advanced training to maintain certification (CEUs).
Attend all required company in-service training.
