- Responsibilities
- Conduct, prepare, and defend depositions for lemon law cases on behalf of consumers.
- Draft deposition outlines, prepare witnesses, and review relevant case materials.
- Analyze and summarize deposition transcripts for use in case strategy and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with litigation team attorneys and support staff to develop case themes and identify key facts.
- Provide litigation support, including drafting legal memoranda, reviewing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, deposition preparation, and legal strategy.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and, if necessary, trials.
- Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
- Deposition experience required
- with a proven record of conducting or defending multiple depositions.
- Strong litigation and advocacy skills, including analytical writing and oral argument abilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Lemon law or automotive litigation experience is
- not required
- ; lemon law training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in civil litigation, particularly plaintiff-side work.
- Interest in consumer protection or automotive law.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- ONSITE TRAINING IS REQUIRED FOR THE FIRST 30 DAYS.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
