The Lead Business Intelligence Engineer is essential in harnessing the power of data to drive insightful and actionable business decisions. In this pivotal role, you will analyze raw data to uncover process improvements and conduct root cause analysis, enabling a deeper understanding of the data's implications. Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize disciplined analytics to predict behaviors and optimize our programs and products.
- Employ advanced modeling techniques to develop and validate cases that enhance the quality and outcomes of our offerings.
- Innovate our financial modeling approaches, gaining knowledge of the business context.
- Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings at the appropriate level to influence departmental strategy and drive significant business decisions.
- Make informed decisions on complex issues regarding technical approaches and work independently.
- Determine objectives and approaches for assignments, exercising considerable autonomy.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree.At least 5 years of experience with large datasets, data analysis, and reporting in extensive organizations.A minimum of 3 years of SQL experience.Experience of at least 3 years with PowerBI or a similar data visualization tool.Proven track record in analyzing data to address a range of business challenges and creating impactful data visualizations.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various business teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored for senior and executive leadership.Work-from-Home Requirements :
Recommended minimum download speed of 25 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps; wired, wireless, cable, or DSL connections are preferred.Satellite, cellular, or microwave connections may only be used with leadership approval.Associates located in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly internet expense payment.Humana will supply associates with necessary telephone equipment for business purposes.Work must be conducted from a dedicated space free from interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science.Minimum 2 years of experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools.At least 2 years of experience in Python.Experience in developing automations for business processes using scripting languages for at least 1 year.Understanding of healthcare-related data and experience with analytics solutions across various healthcare sectors.Additional Information :

The expected work schedule is 40 hours per week.
Compensation : The salary for this role ranges from $97,900 to $133,500 per year, with potential eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
