Marcom's International offices contribute to Apple's global launch moments, ensure our brand and strategic platforms thrive and address local opportunities for the business grounded in insight through locally-led original creative work. The Program Management team within Marcom's Global Operations organization is focused on empowering these in-Geo teams to deliver high-quality original creative work through efficient planning, workflow and organizational programs.
Description
The Program Manager helps connect Marcom's global vision with locally-relevant creative work from international Geo teams by developing and leading programs focused on optimizing Geo-originated initiatives. Areas of focus include annual and quarterly planning, workflow and process assessment, optimization and capabilities expansion.
Responsibilities
Define programs and determine which projects or work streams are important to the program's success / goals and align them with the strategy. Identify interdependencies between projects and programs. Motivate stakeholders and team members to achieve goals. Engage with partners to communicate a program's strategy, achieve and maintain support and alignment, address concerns and inform on status and progress. Process design, facilitate streamlined communication, drive cross-functional alignment and continuous operational process improvement. Manage program budgets and allocate across projects as needed. Coordinate and execute on operational components of programs and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years experience in program and / or operations management in a global marketing organization or creative agency. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Experience initiating and leading organizational process and workflow programs. History of engaging with and influencing senior-level stakeholders. Experience driving initiatives within matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in program management or related field. Experience in Strategic Program Management or similar environment with understanding of project management methodologies and industry-standard processes. Ability to drive process improvements and deliver sustainable, flexible systems that can evolve over time. Persistent and creative in solving problems and overcoming roadblocks with a self-starter and action-oriented approach. Passion for working with Global teams. Bachelor's degree.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,600 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
