Job Title : Accounts Payable & Disbursement Specialist

Location :   Bridgeport, West Virginia 26330

Pay Rate :   $26 / hour

Duration : 6 months

Job Description :

The person in this role is responsible for processing tasks related to disbursement operations, invoice payments, and accounts payable procedures. The position involves using automated accounting and billing systems to review, analyze, and route or wire invoices for payment, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and route / wire invoices for payment using automated systems.
• Reject invoices that are incorrectly billed or missing required information.
• Verify invoice accuracy based on Purchase Order (PO) terms and conditions.
• Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to expense reports and invoice payments.
• Investigate and resolve issues with reimbursements and payment statuses.
• Assist vendors and internal teams with inquiries and reconciliation, particularly for labor and equipment charges.
• Work with internal requisitioners and supply chain buyers to resolve PO issues.
• Train and support internal users on billing systems, including SAP.
• Prepare 1099 forms for submission to the IRS, if applicable.
• Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.
