Certified Inpatient Medical Coder

A company is looking for Inpatient PTF Coders for remote full-time and part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

Code PTF charts in ICD-10 with a minimum accuracy of 95%

Correct personal coding errors and adhere to turnaround times for coding completion

Review and abstract health record information while ensuring compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience coding for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

Active credentials as a certified coder with maintenance of those credentials

Formal training in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding methodologies

Familiarity with coding guidelines and systems including ICD, CPT, and HCPCS

High School Diploma or equivalent education required
