About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacy Technician (Days)

Location : Atlanta, GA

Duration : 4 weeks (possibility to extend)

Shift : Days, Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (40 hours / week)

Job Summary :

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will assist with inventory and stock maintenance, medication preparation, physical inspection, and record keeping to support efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution

Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels

Perform physical inspections of medications and supplies

Maintain proper documentation and records

Support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations

Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of current Pharmacy Technician experience (required)

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (required; no facility pend)

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings (required)

Proficiency in IV compounding and chemotherapy compounding (preferred)

Previous travel assignment experience (preferred)

Must have own reliable vehicle for commute

BLS (AHA) certification required

Additional Information :

No weekend shifts or on-call required; holiday coverage may be requested

This is a 4-week assignment with no Return to Office (RTO) approval
