Medical Assistant
Description : Schedule patients for office / clinic visitsPrep rooms with required materials for visitRoom PatientsWork alongside 1 provider with an additional MA employee (3 total providers.
2 MAs / 1 Doctor ratio)Take vitals, weight, height, Blood Pressure, medical historyWork with patients family / caregiver for collecting informationEnter all data into EMR system-AllscriptsSchedule follow ups as neededWorkers CompensationOn the rare occasion they might need to float to another location if they're short staffed.
They would be notified ahead of time. Will happen once they go permHours : m-f 8am-4 / 5pm Need to be flexible if patient has a later scheduled appointment and provider needs them to stay and assistQualifications : Must Have : Medical Assistant Schooling / Diploma / Cert ,externship or work exp, immediate Care or Urgent Care background .
Strong computer skills EMR, strong communication skills, and strong knowledge of giving report / debrief to a medical professionalStrong communication skills, close attention to detailNice to Have : entry level MA right out of schooling / certification, will also consider a PCT or EMT.
