Associate, Fund Operations
The role sits within General Atlantic's Finance Group and offers exposure across the firm, working closely with teams in finance, accounting, tax, and treasury, as well as investment professionals, legal counsel, and senior leadership. This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented, analytical professional eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and gain deep experience in private equity operations.
Transactional Support :
- Prepare and review complex investor allocations for new and follow-on investments and expenses
- Assist with the maintenance, tracking and reporting of investor unfunded commitments
- Assist with Credit Facility management including usage tracking, drawdowns, repayments, compliance reporting and lender communication
- Manage allocation inputs into clear and tailored investor communications and deliverables (e.g., capital call and distribution notices)
- Support settlement and reporting of public market transactions, including reconciliations and SEC filings
- Maintain accurate custody and stock records in compliance with SEC regulations
- Contribute to control-focused processes and ensure accurate reconciliation of investor and co-investor cash flows
Internal and External Reporting :
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports, including capital analysis, projected investment schedules, and transaction activity updatesSupport continuous improvement of processes, controls, and systemsRespond to investor inquiries regarding transactions and commitmentsPrepare supporting documentation and materials for internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and other stakeholder requestsQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred2+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably with private equity, investment management, or Big 4 audit exposureStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven attention to detailAdvanced Excel proficiency (lookups, pivot tables, macros, VBA)Experience with Geneva FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran); exposure to Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar tools is a plusHigh integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential informationStrong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team playerDemonstrated record of achievement and intellectual curiosityGA Value :
