Job description

CRB is seeking a highly skilled and licensed  Architect IV  to lead architectural design efforts for complex  Life Sciences Pharmaceutical and Biotech  projects. This individual will play a key leadership role in the planning and execution of  GMP-compliant  facilities with a strong focus on  cleanroom design   personnel / material flows and  adjacency planning . The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of regulatory and operational requirements in the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead architectural design for life sciences projects including conceptual planning schematic design and construction documentation.
  • Generate complex code analyses life safety and egress plans floor plans sections elevations details schedules and specifications for large projects of advanced complexity with no oversight.
  • Develop and coordinate  cleanroom layouts   GMP spaces and  critical adjacencies  to optimize personnel and material flows.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers MEP and construction professionals.
  • Serve as the primary architectural liaison with clients ensuring alignment with project goals timelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior architects and contribute to the development of architectural standards and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with International building codes Florida building codes   GMP regulations and  industry standards .
  • Participate in client presentations design reviews and project coordination meetings.

Qualifications :

  • Licensed Architect with the ability to get licensed in the state of Florida  (required) plus NCARB certification.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 15 years  of architectural experience with at least  5 years in Life Sciences Pharma or Biotech  sectors.
  • Proven experience with  cleanroom design   GMP facilities and  regulated environments .
  • Strong understanding of  personnel / material flow   adjacency planning and  facility programming .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead client meetings and internal design discussions.
  • Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and other design software.
  • LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
