Drive with Us :
- Role : Class A Flex Driver.
- Location : Primarily in Chicago and surrounding areas.
- Flexibility : Shifts vary between solo and team driving. Be ready to step in for drivers on leave and handle various routes.
Compensation and Bonuses :
- Guaranteed Pay : $1,350 per week when running solo; $1,550 per week when running as a team.
- New Hire Transition Bonus : $500, paid in full on your second paycheck.
- Referral Bonus : Earn up to $3,000 for successful referrals, paid out over the first 120 days.
- Accessorial Pay :
- Stop Pay : $13.00 for single, $15.00 for team split per non-final stop.
- Delay Pay : $18.54 per hour solo and $9.27 per hour team after 15 minutes free time (applicable only during dealer caused delays).
Work Life Balance :
- Home Every Weekend : Guaranteed home time from Saturday night through Sunday night.
- Night Shifts : Starting between 5 PM and 11 PM, running through the night.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver aftermarket automotive parts (e.g., hoods, bumpers, doors) to Honda dealerships.
- Manage loading and unloading of freight, including at night with responsibilities like unlocking and locking up dealerships.
- Comfortable with city driving, especially in tight spaces and during night hours in Chicago.
Requirements :
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Comfortable with touch freight and maneuvering a tractor-trailer in challenging environments.
- Willingness to adapt to varying schedules and route types.
Freight Details :
- Type of Freight : Automotive parts, including cages, totes, and loose pieces.
- Handling : This is a touch freight position requiring active involvement in loading and unloading processes.
