Tax Internship Program
Willis Johnson & Associates (WJA) is seeking 12 motivated Juniors, Seniors, or Master's students to join our Tax Internship Program. WJA is a Registered Investment Advisory firm, not a CPA firm, providing high-net-worth clients with comprehensive financial planning across all life stages, including tax planning and compliance. As a tax intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in tax services while also seeing how tax integrates into broader wealth management strategies. This internship is a great fit for students interested in pursuing the CPA or CFP designation.
Program Highlights
- 40-hour / week, paid internship

Essential Responsibilities
Prepare individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returnsCompile and input data using Thomson Reuters UltraTax softwareManage workflows and organize returns in a paperless systemPartner with the Tax Manager and wealth managers to deliver outstanding client serviceSupport the Tax Operations team during busy season with client relations and project organizationComplete one specialized tax research project and present findings to members of the firmQualifications
Accounting or Finance major with an interest in TaxCareer goals in Public Accounting or Wealth ManagementStrong initiative and organizational skillsProficiency with technology, research, and analysisExcellent written and verbal communicationProfessional presence and ability to work under deadlinesWhat We Offer
