Dental Assistant
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic dental assistant to join our dental office family. Applicants must have good communication skills, work independently, but also be a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Primary duties will include chairside assisting, taking X-rays, instrument sterilization, and preparing / breaking down treatment rooms.
- Part of being a team player would mean helping out where needed including, but not limited to answering the phone, scheduling appointments, taking payments, and preparing / presenting treatment plans.
- Expanded assistant duties that would be very welcome, but not required for an applicant could include making temporary crowns, packing cord, taking impressions, etc.
- We would be more than willing to train a determined applicant for expanded duties.
- Expanded duties would be a path for an increased wage. Meaning that an employee can demonstrate consistent high-quality execution of expanded duties without help from the dentist.
Schedule : Hours are generally Mon-Thurs, 7 : 30 am-5 : 15 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break). Flexible on which days you work, but would require a set schedule.
For example, M,Tu,Th.
Pay : Hourly based on skills, quality of work and work ethic. Potential for professional growth.
COVID-19 / Infection Control Measures available to you but not necessarily required include but are not limited to : Air purifiers, Respirator masks and Level 3 surgical masks, Face Shields, Fluid resistant gowns, Surgical caps, UV light box, and Disposable barriers.
