Job Description : Low-Voltage / Tech Systems Installer
CamNet Inc. is looking for self-motivated people with a positive attitude to join our company. They must be able to promote the company, co-workers, clients, and partners. Provide a skill set to recognize issues, communicate all issues with your Project Lead, and take accurate and clear directions. For this position, we are looking for a candidate with experience as a Low-Voltage / Tech Systems Installer. You will need to be able to read and interpret site plans, work efficiently with the site crews, and represent CamNet well onsite. Project size and scope varies considerably and requires a mix of IT and low voltage skills such as pulling cable, fiber optics, installing cable racks and equipment, wireless access points, cameras, Access Control equipment, etc. (Intrusion systems a plus).
Responsibilities
- Install, test, repair and service a variety of electronic cabling and equipment, with guidance as needed.
- Interpret manuals, construction drawings, wiring diagrams and be able to use hand tools.
- Recognize issues, communicate with Project Lead, and follow directions accurately.
- Read and interpret site plans and work with site crews on construction and professional settings.
- Pull cable, fiber optics, install cable racks and equipment, wireless access points, cameras, and Access Control equipment (Intrusion systems a plus).
- Work on construction sites as well as in occupied professional settings.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, start early mornings, and work safely on a daily basis.
- Fill out daily job / project reports and use Microsoft Office.
- Attend and participate in project coordination meetings if needed.
- Collaborate with project team members in a friendly and positive manner.
- Some travel throughout the state.
- Maintain a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Security / Criminal Background Check.
- PPE is a plus.
