Frontier Direct Care is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to empower our members to take control of their healthcare.

Giving our team members the autonomy to create and excel (Hyperlink testimonials from current employees). We believe that doctors should be freed from the long hours of paperwork to connect with their patients.

Requirements :

As a Provider with Frontier, you will have the opportunity to craft amazing user experiences to delight Frontier members.

We have embraced the direct primary care model and have created relationships with companies across the entire Rio Grande Valley.

Deliver exceptionally thorough medical care to Frontier members through a proven direct care process that doesn't include hours of note-taking or billing headaches.

• Communicate directly with your patients by phone, text and email. Cut through the red tape and be released to practice medicine the way you have always wanted. No barriers.
• With a limited patient panel, feel empowered and have the autonomy to diagnose chronic disease while it is still reversible, curing people for life.
• Be a hero! Make home visits for homebound patients, house calls for moms with babies, office visits for busy professionals.
• Have the time to learn and perform the procedures you've always wanted to do.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to constantly improve and hone your craft.
• Manage a patient panel limited to 800 members with the assistance of a full-time Medical Support staff, giving you the time to provide excellent, thorough care.
• Have the freedom to call, text, or email your members directly using a communication platform where all your conversation integrates directly with our electronic medical records from your phone or laptop.
• Be a hero! Provide urgent care for your members by phone, text and (every once in a while) in-person visits to rescue them from unnecessary visits to the ER or urgent care.
• Take the time you need for patients, whether it's a 2 min text or a 1 hour visit. You decide what will lead to your patient's wholeness and health.
• You always wanted to be the hometown doc who made home visits when your patients couldn't come to you. Now you can! Come to the rescue for patients who are too sick to leave home or for moms with a pack of kids.
• Collaborate with your colleagues to build knowledge and hone your craft. Work in an encouraging environment where excellence is prized and learning together is a key value.
• Coordinate tasks with your nursing staff to make sure patients receive timely attention. Use your excellent communication skills to delegate tasks and have the freedom to focus on patient care.

What We’re Looking For

• Have an unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• You love people and are intentionally relational.
• You expertly handle sensitive personal matters with integrity and a high degree of confidentiality.
• You are well-spoken and articulate, with a dash of charm.
• You communicate a plan and follow through to complete execution.
• You constantly seek feedback to improve yourself and those around you.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience working in Family Practice
• 2 years experience working as a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
