The position of Material Handler performs duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials.

Compensation : $20.20 - $24.99 per hour. Schedule : Monday-Thursday 2 : 00 pm - 12 : 30 am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide support to manufacturing employees and resolve problems using knowledge of shipping / receiving and floor stock operations.
• Utilize safety knowledge to maintain a safe work environment.
• Skill in operating forklift or other materials handling equipment.
• Utilize effective verbal / oral communication skills to interact with employees, management, and customers.
• Interact in a friendly, cooperative attitude with internal departments and external customers.
• Function independently and follow oral / written instructions with the ability to produce accurate work when frequently interrupted.
• Read and understand bills of materials and instructions to ensure accuracy that the coil selected is the exact gauge and width required for the product.
• Understand the total weight capacity of each uncoiler and ensure that each uncoiler has a label attached for maximum coil weight capacity.
