Financial Analyst - Fully Remote - Must have a NM Residence

The UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Financial Analyst . This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Remote Position-Selected candidate must have a permanent address and live in New Mexico or be willing to relocate to New Mexico.

Minimum $65,557 - Midpoint $81,936

• Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
• Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours / week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Summary :

Performs and / or oversees strategic, broad-impact financial analysis, reporting, and systems development for a major, multi-unit operating entity of the university. Leads and coordinates the design and implementation of financial / accounting / budget systems and reports. May develop and deliver financial and business training programs, as appropriate.

Minimum Job Requirements of a Financial Analyst :

Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.

Experience in the following is preferred :

1. Experience with business objects, MS Access, Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau

2. Experience with clinical, research, academic finance

3. Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex integrated reports, dashboards, projects
