Head of Communications, AI Infrastructure, Google Cloud

As a member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will collaborate with other cross‑functional teams to communicate with journalists and thought leaders, develop specific communications materials and devise thought leadership campaigns. You’ll understand the power of Google’s Cloud products and tell the story of how we help our customers innovate. You’ll engage in face‑to‑face meetings with internal executives and external opinion formers, and develop print and web‑based materials supporting these campaigns.

In this role, you will drive the narrative for one of Google’s fastest‑growing and most critical businesses. You will define and execute a comprehensive, integrated communications strategy, spanning product public relations (PR), external media, social and influencer relations to generate immense awareness and excitement for Google Cloud’s exceptional AI infrastructure offerings. You will lead and grow a team of communications professionals, serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, and oversee all internal and executive communications for the AI Computing and Infrastructure (ACI) organization, including speech‑writing and employee engagement. You will also have the opportunity to have a real impact on a pivotal AI initiative for Google Cloud, working with industry leaders across several functions within Google.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience in public relations, external and internal communications.
• Experience in a people‑management, supervision, or team‑leadership role.
• Experience in semiconductor and Business‑to‑Business (B2B) communications.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $211,000$−$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
