Overview

Wellness Director / Director of Nursing role at Civitas Senior Living. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, contribute to innovative healthcare that enhances and preserves the independence and wellbeing of residents.

Responsibilities

• Leadership Excellence : Maintain, manage, and inspire a full team through recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching.
• Resident-Centric Care : Perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate individualized care plans, and provide empathetic, personalized care.
• Effective Collaboration : Liaise seamlessly with internal staff, third-party vendors, and medical professionals.
• Quality Assurance : Lead staff meetings, manage service agreements, update physician order sheets, and assure compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Continuous Oversight : Ensure proper medication management, complete timely audits, handle incident reporting, and conduct investigations.
• Emergency Response : Assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
• Other duties as strategically aligned with our mission and vision.
