Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in industrial operational technology, is seeking a Systems Architect - Entry Level to join their team. As a Systems Architect, you will be part of the IT support and infrastructure team supporting OT systems and network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Systems Architect - Entry Level

Location : Baton Rouge, LA

Pay Range : 42-44 / hr

What's the Job?

Manage and support backup systems using Veeam and Acronis, including configuration, scheduling, and troubleshooting.

Deploy, configure, and maintain NAS hardware devices such as Synology or QNAP solutions.

Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP services.

Build and configure servers, perform advanced troubleshooting, and optimize hardware performance.

Work with virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi and vSphere, managing virtual machines and network configurations.

What's Needed?

Hands-on experience with backup software platforms such as Veeam and Acronis.

Knowledge of NAS deployment, RAID configurations, and storage performance optimization.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.

Experience in server building, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with virtualization environments, especially VMware ESXi and vSphere.
