Job description

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn. We are looking for experienced virtual tutors and teachers to provide 1 : 1 or group instruction to students in the Philadelphia School District starting ASAP!

  • Remote instruction - work from home on your own computer!
  • Schools are currently looking for After-School Virtual Tutors on Monday through Thursday availability from 2 : 00-5 : 00PM)
  • Set your own hourly rate and negotiate on a per job basis
  • We will ask you to share the subjects you can teach the best, and systematically send jobs to your email based on those subjects

About Tutor Me Education :

  • We are a tutoring and test-preparation platform that connects tutors with clients and school districts
  • Tutors set their own hourly rate and decide which tutoring jobs to accept based on their availability

    • Requirements

    Job requirements :

  • The following background checks are REQUIRED : Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check, and Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), in addition to the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct / Abuse Disclosure Form.

    • Previous tutoring / teaching experience

  • Previous experience working with small groups of students highly preferred
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
  • Ability to pass a background check if required
