Texas Licensed Staff Counsel

A company is looking for a Staff Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage all phases of litigation involving claims of moderate to heavy value, including legal research and drafting legal documents

Support Senior Trial Counsel in case handling and participate in hearings, trials, and mediations

Develop and implement advanced legal strategies while utilizing technology to streamline workflows

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school

Admission to the bar in Texas and in good standing

Minimum of 5 years of trial attorney experience, preferably in insurance law

Proven experience managing moderately complex litigation with successful outcomes

General knowledge of insurance law and related regulations
