Logistics Clerk Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team in Downey, California. This contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to daily logistics operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of logistics or administrative experience and a proactive approach to ensuring smooth and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Input and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are entered correctly.
- Monitor incoming shipments and containers, providing updates to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and regular updates in the company systems.
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate on-time deliveries.
- Address and resolve order or shipping issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform general office duties to support logistics operations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to sustain smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Support troubleshooting efforts related to shipment discrepancies or delays.
Requirements :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, shipping / receiving, order processing, or a related administrative role.Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution environments is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with vendors, carriers, and team members.
