Job Summary

We are seeking a Provider Support Assistant to be responsible for administrative and clerical duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of the Division of Cardiology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide clerical / administrative support for multiple cardiologists.
• Answer and route phone calls, serve as a resource person, interview callers; answer questions concerning departmental or divisional activities to the appropriate place. Screen and route mail and documents; determine which to respond to or which to bring to supervisor's attention based on content of the communication.
• Schedule and coordinate arrangements for seminars and conferences and establish appointments, meetings and speaking engagements for physicians.
• Update and maintain QGenda schedules for each provider.
• EPIC : maintain clinic schedules, process cancellations and schedule change requests as needed.
• Process all reimbursements incurred during trips or business meetings.
• Prepare reports, proposals and correspondence for physicians.
• Yearly update CV, bio sketch, DEA and medical license.
• Maintain and provide provider with CME credits.
• Organize and maintain physician and office files.

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
