Assembler
As an Assembler, you will start by working closely with an assembly lead who will guide you through the daily tasks until you become independent in your role. You will use basic hand tools such as rivets and hand drills to assemble products, along with a tape measure and occasionally micrometers, for which training will be provided. This is a physical role requiring the ability to lift large sheets of material.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with an assembly lead to learn daily tasks.
Utilize hand and power tools for product assembly.
Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and possibly micrometers.
Physically handle and lift large materials, up to 75lbs.
Essential Skills :
Experience with assembly and production.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
General labor skills.

Work Environment :
Work in a leading aluminum composite fabricating company that specializes in building panels for commercial exteriors. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, offering comfort during the summer months. Dress code includes jeans, shorts, T-shirts, and steel-toed footwear. The company has approximately 110 employees and operates on a flexible first shift from 5am to 2 : 30pm, with minimal weekend work required.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
