Description :

Under direct supervision and direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse.

Performs duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients.

Follows established methods and procedures.

Strives for superior performance by consistently providing quality service to the team.

Contributes positively to the patient and family experience.

Recognizes the importance of patient and family-centered care.

Attendance policy : A strict policy is in place to advocate for the patient population.

Any RN who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift three times will face termination.

Exceptions such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed.
