Orthopedics - Adult Reconstructive Physician

Our client is a leading healthcare institution in Bergen County, NJ, known for its excellence in patient care, cutting-edge medical advancements, and commitment to medical education. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Reconstruction Surgery to join their distinguished orthopedic team. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Fellowship in Reconstruction Surgery. This role involves diagnosing and treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on joint reconstruction, arthroplasty, and revision surgeries. The surgeon will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, and pain management experts, to provide comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities Perform primary and revision joint reconstruction procedures, including hip and knee replacements. Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions related to degenerative diseases, trauma, and deformities. Collaborate with a team of orthopedic specialists to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans. Utilize advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures. Participate in research, clinical trials, and continuing medical education. Educate and mentor residents and medical students as part of the hospital s teaching initiatives. Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives to improve orthopedic patient care and outcomes. Qualifications MD from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Completion of an accredited Fellowship in Reconstruction Surgery. Eligible for or currently holds an active New Jersey medical license. Strong surgical skills and expertise in joint reconstruction and revision procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
