Welder / Fabricator

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a steel manufacturing team in Ringgold, GA. This hands-on role involves setting up and operating welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to precise specification s.

Pay : $20.00 / hour + $1.00 shift differential (or based on experience)

Shifts Available : 1st and 3rd shift

Responsibilities :

• Read Blueprints & Technical Drawings : Interpret engineering plans to determine dimensions and welding requirements.
• Machine Setup : Configure welding machines and select appropriate tools and fixtures.
• Material Handling : Lift and position parts (up to 50 lbs manually; heavier items with crane / hoist).
• Quality Control : Ensure welds meet required codes and standards.
• Troubleshooting : Resolve issues related to machine operation or weld quality.
• Workspace Maintenance : Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
