SharkNinjas SVP Corporate Communications will develop and lead a comprehensive global strategy that protects, promotes, and enhances SharkNinjas reputation among key stakeholders, internally and externally. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this individual will be a core member of the leadership team and will drive awareness and understanding of SharkNinjas global purpose, value, and contribution through creative, compelling, and consistent communications and a two-way narrative that engages diverse audiences.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with a bias for action and a track record of working effectively in a fast-growing, results-oriented organization. The role requires trusted advisory capability to the CEO, CPO, and executive leadership team, with proven experience in managing a variety of stakeholder issues.

This role will lead and develop an integrated global communications strategy to advance SharkNinjas brand and reputation as a distinctive provider of innovative products that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CPO, and Executive Committee. Provide regular advice and counsel regarding internal and external communications and messaging.
• Provide executives with timely assessment of relevant issues and public sentiment and their bearing on the companys communications efforts.
• Develop a skilled and effective strategic communications team that collaborates to increase awareness among key global stakeholders.
• Serve as one of the companys top spokespeople. Build relationships with media and third-party influencers to enhance reputation and awareness.
• Ensure SharkNinja has world-class crisis management plans and procedures and maintain an infrastructure to rapidly act as required.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations on financial communications activities, including message development for earnings, investor days, and key disclosures.
• In partnership with the marketing team, utilize digital and social media to engage with key constituencies and build on existing digital capabilities for proactive and reactive responsiveness.
• Develop and track clear metrics aligned to business goals and adjust regularly to ensure maximum performance. Implement measurement programs that drive continuous improvement.
• Develop an annual department budget and manage within expectations.
• The Chief Communications Officer will be responsible for media and external communications, social media, internal communications, executive communications, and corporate social responsibility.
