About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the emergency department required.

License :

Current nursing license required.

Certifications : ACLS required.

BLS required.

PALS preferred.

NIHSS certification preferred.

Must-Have :

Ability to float to other facilities as needed.

No time off on weekends or the day before or after a holiday.

Description :

Cover sheet, resume, and primary source verification are required.

Resource must float at the discretion of the facility.

No block scheduling accommodated.

Time off limited to a maximum of 5 days with no more than 2 consecutive days.

Compliance documentation must be provided by the deadline.

Candidate must be responsive and provide updates for all required items.

Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the assignment.

If the candidate refuses to float, they may face cancellation of their contract.

The candidate may be floated to various units outside of their primary area of competency.

The team-based model will be utilized when floated outside of primary competency.

No holiday time off is permitted.

If the candidate calls out on a holiday, cancellation may occur.

All time off requests must comply with the established policy.
