The South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) is seeking two highly skilled Software AG : Natural / Adabas Administrators to join their mission-critical IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and enhancing legacy Software AG environments, supporting day-to-day operations, optimizing performance, managing access controls, and contributing to a long-term modernization initiative.

This role is essential to the ongoing performance, security, and maintainability of PEBA's core systems, which support critical public employee benefits for the State of South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain Software AG Adabas databases in production, test, and development environments.

Administer and enforce security policies using Natural Security , including role-based access controls.

Implement and maintain tools like CONNX for efficient Adabas data querying.

Guide schema changes through dev / test / prod environments using formal SDLC / change control processes.

Troubleshoot performance issues and tune system parameters for optimal operation.

Support PEBA's BC / DR initiatives, including planning, testing, and recovery execution.
