We are looking for dedicated Behavior Technicians to be a part of our exceptional team of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists. You will help children with autism develop essential skills and achieve their fullest potential in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide personalized 1-on-1 care to children with autism in their homes.
- Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based practices and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Build strong relationships with clients to discover their interests and motivators for effective behavior plan implementation.
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans designed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Accurately collect and document data for treatment plans, providing this information to the BCBA for detailed analysis.
- Work closely in a direct care capacity, seeking additional support, training, and supervision from the BCBA as needed.
- Modify interventions as instructed by the supervising BCBA, ensuring optimal support for clients.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of individual intervention plans for each client on your caseload.
- Keep your RBT credentials up-to-date by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually according to BACB guidelines.
- Track and report RBT supervision hours to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Engage in clinical team meetings and continuous training for professional development.
- Document all sessions promptly and accurately to facilitate timely billing.
Qualifications :
Active Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB.Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Exceptional communication skills for effectively interacting with clients' families and writing session notes.Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive connections with clients' families.Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.Motivated team player who demonstrates patience and professionalism.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Verifiable work references and successful completion of a background check are required.Preferred : Minimum of 6 months of experience using ABA therapy in a supervised setting with individuals on the autism spectrum.
