Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics, drives data to insights with a blend of analytic skills, deep business acumen, and partnership with senior cross functional stakeholders. Responsible for creation and enhancement of consumption reporting, monthly report reviews, and trend analytics that meet the needs of the cross functional user groups. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, deep business acumen, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities Include :
- Work closely with key business stakeholders to report on syndicated and custom data sources drives to insights
- Using syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen / Circana / SPINS, retailer POS data) to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the category landscape.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical reporting solutions (e.g., in Tableau, or Power BI) which reflect business needs and allow the end user to reach needed level of granularity to enable decision making
- Conduct research on emerging trends, macroeconomic indicators, and defining drivers, both positive and negative for our category and brand portfolio
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, RGM, and advanced analytics teams to effectively scale analytical maturity.
- Identify opportunities in forecasting process, and support forecasting project.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of analytics.
- Curious with critical thinking skills. Continuous improvement mindset along with outside the box problem solving ability. Work independently and with ambiguity.
- Effective communicator, able to articulate and present recommendations to the brand team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence or a similar role.Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is preferredUnderstanding of statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques.Knowledge of marketing and financial performance metricsProficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL. Comfortable in data mining.Highly proficient in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.Strong communication skills to present data findings clearly and effectively.Proficiency in Nielsen / IRI data.Familiarity with Numerator, or other panel data is preferred.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to challengesThe base pay range for this position is $84,648 to $118,507 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
