The primary focus of the position is project work for the development of engineering studies, design reports, construction documents, and construction oversight / administration related to water and wastewater infrastructure in the municipal and industrial markets in Texas and across the country.

Your Impact

• Will work under the mentorship and guidance of Senior Engineers
• Provide basic engineering services in support of planning, studies, analysis, and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, which may include pump / lift stations, groundwater wells, storage reservoirs, and treatment systems
• Prepare plans water distribution and wastewater collection systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, under instruction from the Project Engineer
• Setup and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems
• Work with CAD designers to prepare plans / drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure systems using industry-standard design platforms, such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, OpenRoads Designer, etc. Ability to use CAD software is considered a plus
• Check design computations and quantity estimates
• Assist in client contacts pertaining to specific projects
• Limited field work and regional travel to project sites may be required
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
