Bureau Veritas is seeking a Building Inspector for their Wyoming Office - Tunkhannock, PA. Duties & Responsibilities include : performing a full range of inspection and evaluation of residential new construction and light commercial new construction, compiling, analyzing, and evaluating findings of investigations and inspections, issuing standard construction and occupancy permits and approve final inspection certificates, maintaining clear, concise, and comprehensive records and reports related to inspection activities, and other duties as needed.

Requirements include : minimum education required is a high school graduate (or equivalent), an associate's degree is preferred, 2-5 years of experience working as a certified inspector performing multi-code building inspections, current PA UCC Certifications, working knowledge of the PA UCC, ICC, and applicable local codes, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record, bilingual (Spanish) a plus, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and working knowledge of office computer software Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
